The swiss customer Liechtblick in Schaffhausen, near the german border, solved their storage problem in 2016 with an INTERTEX TowerMat driver-over storage system of the type TM-UE38.3. With a capacity of 390 cassettes and a payload of 468,000 kg, it offers sufficient space for storing aluminum profiles.
A second driver-over system, with similar size, was additional installed in 2018.
A total of 684 cassettes, with a maximum payload of 1,200kg per cassette, are now available in both transfer camps.
A storage volume of almost 2,500m² with a total payload of 820 tons was created.
